I am the 4th oldest of 10 children and growing up planning for a trip to the grocery store was a big event so I can only imagine how events such as retirement, college or a vacation require more effort, time and money. Watching my momma budget for a household of 12 off of a single income of my father as lead maintenance man inspired me to study accounting and business in school. I want to provide financial insight for families like the one I grew up in. Luxuries that people take for granted such as a savings accounts is hardly ever talked about in the community I grew up in.

I want to start this blog as a starting point to opening up my own consulting practice. I don’t want to be like most financiers who take care of a client’s assets without input from the client. I intend to help families help themselves so they can take the financial knowledge they will gain and help another family.

The areas I intend to harp on are from personal experiences of mine, and what I don’t know I will just ask my mom and dad.

Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have in regards to paying down student loan debt, buying a car, contributing to your 401k or saving 3-6 months of bills. Even if you don’t have any of the items listed above but you want to start then don’t hesitate in reaching out to me.

No question is a dumb one, believe me if there was I have probably already asked it a long time ago.
